Training Classes

If you decide you want to show your dog it is vitally important you receive the correct training and guidance. Your dog will require social skills and confidence around people and other dogs in the show ring in order to perform properly.

Our dogtrainers have many years experience between them and will be able to steer you in the right direction with your ringcraft skills.

We have indoor and outdoor facilities at the centre.

Ring Craft (7:25 pm - 9.30)

Puppy training is always first on the mat.

Whether you're a beginner with your first show dog or an experienced exhibitor, our experienced team of instructors will help you get the best from your dog in the show ring. You will be taught how to present and move your dog correctly for its breed. We offer practical advice on all aspects of Dog Showing from how to enter your first show to where to find the right show lead. Many of our members go on to compete at Crufts. Puppies are welcome as soon as they have cleared their final vaccinations and there is no upper age limit. There is an internal competition each year - to find the clubs Best Dog Of The Year / Best Puppy Of The year /Best Adult Handler/Junior Handler / Most improved Dog.
